Deputy Chairman of the "National Movement" Party (MHP), a member of the ruling coalition of Turkey, Ilyas Topsakal, member of the Mejlis, again referred to the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" in the context of uniting the Turkic world.

"Our historical paths must be opened. That is why "Zangezur Corridor" is a mandatory condition for us. The way through Iran, presented as an alternative to it, is not an alternative."

It is important to record this again so that it is understood that Turkey and the Republic of Baku (ed.) do not just want to have a road, but to conquer Syunik gradually, so talks about alternative roads through the territory of Iran are just distracting propaganda theses."
