What will this participation bring to Armenia and what developments can we witness?"

"Armenia's attendance at the NATO summit was of a ceremonial nature, it was the organization's 75th anniversary, in which they were invited and participated. But after the summit, Russia has already started to unfairly criticize Armenia. Why do I say not fair because it was a ceremonial event? Let's say, Azerbaijan conducts serious military exercises with another NATO member, Turkey, at least several times a year, has the "Shushi Declaration" signed in 2021, the purpose of which is not only the cooperation of the armed forces, but also the creation of a joint military group, but we do not see any criticism or even mention of it. And the Armenian-American military exercises, for example, which in reality are not military exercises at all, but an event held by the US National Guard, Russia makes a big fuss about it, because they need an excuse to blame Armenia for the deterioration of Armenian-Russian relations."

"What would you say about the trilateral meeting between Mirzoyan-Blinken-Bayramov during the NATO summit? Was it a step forward from the point of view of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations?"

"Diplomacy is like a bridge in many ways, if the bridge is not complete, regardless of how many percent of it is built, you cannot use it. Now, no matter how much they say - one step forward, the process is still not complete, and the so-called process is the "peace agreement".

"Why do I say "so to speak" because, first of all, that agreement will not be signed, and even if it is signed, it will not bring peace. Azerbaijan does not want to sign and seal such a document, Russia is not interested either, and the USA wants it to the extent that it will enable it to play a greater role in the South Caucasus. Its signing will be a symbolic victory in a sense, because if such a document is signed in Washington, it will increase its role. But Russia, of course, does not want that."

"I don't see any tactic for signing such a document, because the demands that Azerbaijan has already put forward are impossible to fulfill, and if they are fulfilled, it means that Armenia will disappear. Let me remind you that in addition to the amendments to the Constitution, which Baku spoke about, the 10th package forwarded by Azerbaijan mentions the "return" of 300,000 Azerbaijanis to Armenia and the deployment of troops by a country allied to Azerbaijan in the territory of Armenia in support of those Azerbaijanis. In other words, Baku has demanded the occupation of Armenia. it is more than even unconditional surrender. In other words, he says: you should recruit troops in your country, so that when I send people to live there, they will rule over them. It is unacceptable in every way, but if we assume that these authorities, from whom everything is expected, accept it, it means destroying Armenia from the inside."
