RA MFA responded to Amirbekov's statement. "Radar.am"

RA MFA Spokesperson Ani Badalyan commented to the statement of the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan, Elchin Amirbekov, that Baku and Yerevan, by mutual consent, decided to remove the clause on the reopening of communications from the peace agreement and move the discussion to a later stage. According to Amirbekov, one of the factors contributing to the negotiations at the moment is that both sides have reached an agreement on the most controversial of the remaining issues, the so-called "Zangezur Corridor".

"Noting that the article related to regional communications was removed from the draft peace agreement by mutual agreement, it should be emphasized that their effective unblocking continues to be an important part of the vision and agenda of RA for peace and economic development in the region," said the MFA spokesperson.
