There is no Armenian army in Nagorno Karabakh. Nikol Pashinyan

The humanitarian crisis of the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor in Nagorno-Karabakh is intensifying day by day. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Government session on July 6.

"As you know, after the provocation on June 15 near Hakari bridge, Nagorno-Karabakh is deprived of supplies of all kinds of goods. Even the peacekeepers of the Russian Federation stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh do not have the opportunity to carry out supplies, because the Lachin corridor is completely blocked. Natural gas and electricity supplies to Nagorno Karabakh have also been disrupted by Azerbaijan for months. At the same time, we see a continuous escalation of Azerbaijani rhetoric and propaganda, especially in the direction of Nagorno-Karabakh," he said.

Pashinyan noted that Azerbaijan's baseless accusations against the Republic of Armenia do not stop. "Particularly, Azerbaijan continues to demand from Armenia to withdraw the units of the Armenian army from Nagorno Karabakh under the conditions that the Republic of Armenia does not have soldiers in Nagorno Karabakh.

I record once again that there is no army of the Republic of Armenia in Nagorno Karabakh.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army operates in Nagorno-Karabakh, the reasons for its existence can be found every day in the official propaganda and actions of Azerbaijan, the undisguised essence of which is to subject the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh to ethnic cleansing and genocide. In essence, we see the creeping implementation of that policy today in Nagorno-Karabakh."
