Putin, stand by your promise we believed you: the participant of the action in front of the Russian Embassy
Artsakh citizens living in Armenia and dozens of citizens marched from the UN office in Armenia to the Russian embassy. This is reported by "NEWS.am".
The participants of the protest presented their demand in Russian to the Russian embassy, demanding to open the Lachin corridor.
The people of Artsakh declared that not only the displaced people, but also the people of Artsakh cannot imagine their future in dictatorial, racist Azerbaijan, where Armenians are the target of hatred.
Mariam Avagyan, the coordinator of the assembly of refugees from the Azerbaijan SSR, addressed the President of the Russian Federation, saying: "We believed in you, we need to open the way to the life of Artsakh."
"Severing the connection with Armenia in Lachino is one of the methods of pushing Armenians out of Artsakh. Azerbaijan certainly wants an empty Artsakh of Armenians, and if the Armenians do not leave of their own free will, there is no doubt that Azerbaijan will try to solve the issue by military means, creating impossible conditions for the people of Artsakh, which is what it is doing today by shooting Armenians working in the fields. It is obvious that Azerbaijan wants to provoke a new war," Avagyan said.
Earlier, the participants of the action presented their demands to the representatives of the UN office.
Remember that a popular movement has started in Artsakh's Renaissance Square these days. Tents have been set up in the square. Azerbaijan has closed the only road connecting Armenia to Artsakh for half a year, due to which serious humanitarian problems have arisen.
Today Artsakh State Minister Gugen Nersisyan informed on his "Facebook" page that the popular movement started in Artsakh will also take place in the Republic of Armenia from today.
"Since 11:00 in the morning, awareness campaigns will be organized regarding the situation in Artsakh in coordination with the Artsakh representation in RA and the operative headquarters of the Artsakh government. I call on everyone to join the movement and take part in the planned events," he wrote.
