The NSS of Artsakh reported details regarding the arrest of a resident of Artsakh by Azerbaijan

According to the message released by the Artsakh NSS, a citizen of the Republic of Artsakh,  born in 1962 Rashid Beglaryan, having been in the Hin Shen community of Shushi region for the last few days, left the village under the influence of alcohol on August 1, got lost and ended up in the territory controlled by Azerbaijan and was arrested by Azerbaijan.

In order to find out all the details of the incident, relevant checks are being carried out by the National Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Artsakh authorities informed the Russian peacekeeping forces about the incident.

On August 1, the state border guard service of Azerbaijan announced the arrest of an Armenian citizen. According to the message of the border guard service of Azerbaijan, the citizen was arrested at the time of violating the border in the area of Aghavno village. Later, Artsakh's information headquarters released a message, stating that the arrested citizen is a resident of Shushi, who was displaced after the 44-day war, was in the Old Shen community of Shushi region in recent days, and on August 1, got lost in the territory under the control of Azerbaijan.
