Azerbaijani pro-government "Baku.TV" on August 16 "Baku.TV in Armenia. Local environmentalists told the whole truth. published a video titled "EXCLUSIVE". It refers to Armenia's mining industry and mentions its "disastrous influence". The report also includes the words of the Armenian interlocutors, the residents of Kapan, Kajaran, as well as the comments of Inga Zarafyan, the president of the "EcoLur" information NGO.
How did Azerbaijani journalists end up in Armenia and make a report? It turns out that the persons speaking in the report were victims of deception.
Susanna Martirosyan, head of Kapan "Tsiatsan" NGO, expressing her point of view in the video, told #CivilNetCheck that two people approached them on the street and introduced themselves as bloggers: one was the cameraman who spoke Armenian, and the other was a journalist - a Russian girl with a microphone who spoke in Russian. Martirosyan says that he inquired about what kind of blog they were presenting, but those people gave an evasive answer, stating that they were just making inquiries. And the woman answered the questions about the community, also referring to the impact of the mine on the community.
In the report, the speech of Inga Zarafyan, the president of "EcoLur" information NGO, is also presented. The latter, however, was not randomly photographed outside, but they took a long time to get a comment from him.
In a conversation with #CivilNetCheck, Zarafyan said that on July 29, he received an e-mail application from a person named Natalya Khokhlova, who introduced herself from the Russian "bloknot.ru" periodical, asking for an interview regarding the environmental situation in Armenia.
They studied the website of "bloknot.ru", which has been active for many years, which did not cause many doubts.
