A joint Armenian-American exercise will be held in Armenia

"As part of preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the joint Armenian-American exercise "ARTSIV PARTNERS-2023" will be held in Armenia on September 11-20 at the "Zar" training center of the peacekeeping brigade of the Ministry of Defense and the N training center of the Ministry of Defense. As we are informed by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the military exercise implies stabilization actions between the conflicting parties during the peacekeeping tasks.

The purpose of the exercise is to increase the level of interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations, to exchange management and tactical communication best practices, as well as to increase the readiness of the Armenian unit for the planned assessment of the NATO/GCC "Operational Capability Concept".

Within the framework of preparation for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint exercises and exercises in partner countries."
