A new decision on holding training sessions will be made

Today, among the non-reportable issues, the government plans to adopt the draft decision "On announcing training gatherings and engaging the vehicles of bodies with military transport responsibilities to ensure it".

According to the decision, from October 1 to December 8, 2023, it is planned to hold training sessions of reservists and to attract vehicles from the bodies with military transport duties, to define the relations related to the holding of training sessions.

"Taking into account the fact that it is necessary to have combat-capable units in the armed forces equipped with highly professionally trained and military-trained reservists, as well as vehicles, it is advisable to include the reservists in training camps by involving them on combat duty, and to ensure the training camps, transport from the bodies with military transport duties attraction of funds. For this purpose, in the military units of the Armed Forces, training camps for the improvement of military skills, and training of the reservists are carried out, and the troops are gradually replenished with more trained and necessary reservists with the specialty of military accounting. The process will be carried out in accordance with Articles 59 of the RA Law "On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen" and 28 of the RA Law "On Defense", dated 22.07.2010 of the RA Government.
