The Ministers of Defense signed the bilateral cooperation plan between the Defense Ministry of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of Georgia

On November 17, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, in the administrative complex of the RA Defense Ministry.

During the application ceremony, the national anthems of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia were played.

After the private conversation of the defense ministers, a meeting with extended composition took place.

During the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the current level of cooperation. Issues related to Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the field of defense and regional security were discussed.

The parties also presented to each other details regarding the ongoing reforms in the armed forces of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the defense ministers signed the bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

After that, Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze planted a fir tree in the territory of the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense.
