
From November 27 to 29, the EU fact-finding mission group will arrive in Armenia
A delegation of EU External Action Service and European Commission representatives will arrive in Armenia from November 27 to 29, the press and information team of the EU delegation in Armenia announced.
During the visit, EU-Armenia relations will be discussed in various dimensions, with the aim of considering the possible directions of deepening and strengthening of EU-Armenia relations, as well as how Armenia can use the full potential of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement.
This visit is carried out in pursuit of to the implementation of the recommendation of the European Council held on October 26 and 27, aiming to outline the options for strengthening EU-Armenia relations in the best way.
As part of the visit, representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Frontex, the European Union's external border security agency, will join representatives of the EU External Action Service and the European Commission.
The arriving delegation will have meetings with high-ranking representatives of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, as well as representatives of the United Nations and civil society organizations.
In connection with the visit, the launch of the investment coordination platform between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia will be announced.
