US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brian spoke about his visit to Baku in his X microblog.

"I had positive and constructive meetings in Baku. As I told President Aliyev, the United States welcomes the visits of the Central Bank Governor and the Minister of Energy, and Secretary Blinken looks forward to hosting Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeihun Bayramov in Washington soon for peace talks," O'Brien wrote.

Let's remind that earlier Aliyev criticized O'Brien for the thoughts he expressed in the Congress hearings on the Karabakh issue, and declared that the Washington platform is no longer acceptable for him in the negotiations with Yerevan.
