Yerevan declares that there is no agreement on the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, said this while answering "Azatutyun's" question whether there was a concrete agreement for a ministerial meeting in Washington and now Azerbaijan is refusing.
"If there is an arrangement for a meeting, we inform," said Badalyan.
Earlier, Ambassador with special assignments Edmon Marukyan announced that in January, Azerbaijan accepted the invitation of the United States for a meeting there at the level of foreign ministers. However, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Aykhan Hajizaden insisted that there is no agreement on the place and date of the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers.
