The French Senate adopted a resolution condemning Azerbaijan's military attack in Nagorno-Karabakh

The French Senate adopted the resolution condemning Azerbaijan's military attack in Nagorno-Karabakh by a ratio of 336 votes to 1, it is stated on the Senate X page.

According to the official website of the Senate, the resolution calls for sanctions against Azerbaijan, including an embargo on the import of gas and oil from Azerbaijan. The resolution also requires guarantees of the right of return of the Armenian population to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The government is called upon to do everything possible so that Azerbaijan urgently and peacefully joins the negotiation process through diplomatic channels in order to achieve stable peace in the South Caucasus.
