Most of the victims of the warehouse explosion in Artsakh returned to Armenia after being treated abroad

In Nagorno-Karabakh (Republic of Artsakh-ed.), most of the citizens who received burns and were treated abroad as a result of the explosion of the fuel warehouse have returned to Armenia. According to "Armenpress", RA Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan informed about this during a conversation with journalists.

"About two dozen patients went abroad for treatment: France, Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria, USA and other countries. One patient injured in the explosion is currently receiving treatment in Yerevan. The rest of the victims are under outpatient supervision," the minister elaborated.

On September 25, 2023, a strong explosion occurred in the gasoline warehouse near the Stepanakert-Askera highway, as a result of which there were dozens of victims and injured.

According to the latest data of the Investigative Committee, 218 people died as a result of the explosion in the mentioned warehouse.

As a result of the explosion and subsequent fire, at least 120 people received various degrees of bodily injury, mostly in the form of burns.
