
The ICRC visited the illegally detained Armenians in Baku
The representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross once again visited the Armenians detained in Baku at the end of January and the beginning of February of this year, whose names were confirmed by Azerbaijan.
Zara Amatuni, representative of the ICRC Armenian office, informed about this in a conversation with "Armenpress" reporter.
"They are regularly repeated meetings that are coordinated with the leadership of the given country," Amatuni said.
According to him, within the framework of the visits, ICRC representatives get to know the conditions of their detention area, their health condition, and are given the opportunity to contact their families.
Argishti Kyaramyan, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, stated earlier that Baku confirms the presence of about 23 Armenian prisoners, although the Armenian side has factual information that Baku is holding another 32 Armenian prisoners.
