The Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the vision of Armenia regarding the establishment of stability and peace in the region to the Dutch counterpart

On February 8, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Hank Brauns Slott, in The Hague. This is reported by the RA MFA.

During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the Armenian-Dutch bilateral agenda and the prospects for expanding the political dialogue. The steps taken to strengthen democracy and the rule of law in Armenia and the readiness for further bilateral cooperation in that direction were emphasized. In this context, as well as in the context of the fight against impunity, Armenia's membership in the International Criminal Court was also noted with satisfaction.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands discussed issues related to the partnership between Armenia and the European Union. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the continuous development of cooperation in various directions, including the further strengthening of RA resistance.

At the meeting, reference was made to the latest developments in the South Caucasus and the general security situation.

Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the vision of Armenia regarding the establishment of stability and peace in the region. Referring to the progress of the peace treaty draft, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that not only Armenia, but also the other side, Azerbaijan, needs a clear commitment on key issues. RA Foreign Minister emphasized the fundamental principles for the Armenian side in the process of regulating Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, in particular, the importance of unequivocal respect for territorial integrity and indivisibility of borders.

In the context of the unblocking of transport and economic channels in the region and the RA peace agenda, Minister Mirzoyan drew the attention of his colleague to the popular principles underlying the "Crossroads of Peace" program developed by the RA government.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands agreed to continue active contacts and discussions on all issues of mutual interest.
