The leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia should draw conclusions. This was announced today, February 13, by Seyran Ohanyan, head of the National Assembly "Armenia" faction, speaking about Azerbaijan's latest aggression.

According to News.am, Ohanyan reminded that Azerbaijan has been carrying out information propaganda for several days, which usually precedes force operations. "Therefore, the troops had to be instructed to carry out appropriate measures, camouflage, it was necessary to tighten the requirements for carrying out combat duty tasks and engineering work."

"It is unacceptable the situation when the opponent announces his intentions in advance, but you do not prepare. Azerbaijan understands only the language of force. In this case, the principle "force begets right" should be applied. It is necessary to implement preventive measures, apply adequate and even inadequate responses, conduct an official investigation and understand who is responsible for the tactical situation," he said.

Ohanyan reminded that the Azerbaijanis fired from the areas they entered as a result of the 2022 aggression. "I will believe the words of the ruling regime in Armenia about the achievements of the military-industrial complex only when the opponent receives a blow in the nose after today's events," the deputy emphasized.

According to his assessment, everything that is happening stems from the actions of the political leadership, which is trying to prove to the society that Azerbaijan is allegedly following the path of a peaceful agenda.

"I have said more than once that this is an illusion. Azerbaijan is taking steps in Syunik, because the issue of the so-called corridor remains on the agenda. Against this background, the military-political leadership of Armenia does not pay due attention to the issues of carrying out engineering works on the front line and preparing the army. They live a daily, peaceful life and receive bonuses for their inactivity.

At the same time, to increase the basic salary of the military, they are inventing some certification measures, while the entire judicial and legal system of the country received salary increases without any certification," Ohanyan concluded.
