On March 4, within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan had a private conversation with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Greece Nikolaos Dendias, which was followed by the meeting with the extended composition of the delegations. We are informed about this from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the current course of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the field of defense was discussed, the works carried out in the direction of the agreements reached during the negotiations held in Athens in December 2023, and a number of new directions of cooperation were outlined.
After the ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the governments of the two countries, it was agreed to give a new charge to the military-technical cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged ideas on regional security issues.
