The ratification of the Armenia-Greece military-technical cooperation agreement was approved by the government

Today, at the session of March 7, the government approved the draft law of the Republic of Armenia "On Ratifying the Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Greece".

According to the justification of the agreement, the directions of cooperation between the parties are defined, in particular the promotion of research of new technologies and military products in order to strengthen the defense capabilities, cooperation in the fields of development and production in accordance with the national laws of the parties.

The agreement includes such important areas of cooperation as technology transfer and technical assistance for the production of weapons, ammunition and explosives, exchange of information and experience in the field of ammunition production, conducting research in the field of military goods and their production, establishing joint organizations for their production, as well as other areas by mutual agreement of the parties.

The agreement provides for provisions on the means of implementing military-technical cooperation, including training of technical personnel, provision of services related to the repair and operation of military goods produced in third countries.
