Pashinyan, von der Leyen and Blinken will meet in Brussels on April 5. what will they discuss?

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will discuss ways of tripartite cooperation contributing to the development of Armenia on April 5 in Brussels, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan told Armenpress.

Grigoryan also informed that the event aims to strengthen Armenia's resilience.

The Secretary of the Security Council did not provide other details, stating that there will be an opportunity to talk about the event in more detail in the near future.

On October 5, 2023, Pashinyan met with Ursula von der Leyen in Granada, they discussed the situation created by the forced deportation of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, the regional situation, issues related to the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda. The President of the European Commission also informed the Prime Minister of Armenia that the European Union together with the United States will organize a joint meeting to support Armenia.

"This is the first step to strengthen our bilateral relations with Armenia, because Europe and Armenia have a long and rich common history, and the time has come to open a new chapter in that common history," said the President of the European Commission.
