Suren Papikyan watched the military games held at the "Baghramyan" military academy

On March 28, RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, accompanied by the leadership of the Armed Forces, visited the "Baghramyan" military training ground, participated in the demonstration of military equipment as part of operational gatherings, and watched the combat shooting. This is reported by the RA Ministry of Defense.

The units involved in the exercise played out a number of scenarios of moving from the protection of conventional combat positions to defense, using various weapons in order to make the terrain invulnerable.

The Minister of Defense and the senior staff of the Armed Forces also watched the military game through the filming of various ATS.

Suren Papikyan also got acquainted with the latest models of the RA military industry, discussed issues related to cooperation with the representatives of the companies.

The minister emphasized the importance of daily work with military manufacturers to equip the armed forces with innovative and effective weapons.

Later, the head of the defense department discussed with the officers participating in the operational meetings the complex measures implemented this week, summed up the four-day meetings and gave relevant instructions.

Then Minister Papikyan watched the training of the cadets of the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense in another part of the training camp. High-ranking officers presented the new format of theoretical lessons and practical training of the academy, which will contribute to the strengthening of combat training of the personnel, increase of professionalism.

Suren Papikyan watched the shooting of the cadets, instructed to encourage the servicemen who recorded the best results.
