NEWS.am: The life of the contracted solider who was injured yesterday is not in danger at the moment. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Defense.

"The contract serviceman was injured in non-combat conditions that, according to preliminary data, had nothing to do with the performance of official duties. His life is not in danger at the moment, he is under the supervision of the medical staff of the hospital," the Ministry of Defense reported.

To remind, earlier journalist Oskan Sargsyan reported that on April 4, a soldier born in 1996 was transferred from a combat position in the Ijevan region to the Ijevan military base, whose two legs were severely damaged by a mine explosion.

Already today, the Ijevan Medical Center informed the media that the soldier who was transferred from the combat position of the Ijevan region to the Ijevan Medical Center underwent an operation, after which he was transferred to the "Muratsani" hospital.

"The soldier's lower limbs were injured. Both legs were amputated," the medical center explained.
