The meeting with the residents of Kirants was not encouraging. "Tavush for the Motherland" movement

Yesterday, Nikol Pashinyan met with the residents of Kirants village in the RA Government building. the meeting took place in a not encouraging atmosphere, not only did not dispel the concerns of the residents, but moreover, the questions that concern the people of Kiran remained unanswered, which once again proves that the current RA government does not have a clear and alternative political strategy to ensure the safety of its own citizens, to protect their lives, property and ownership. The civil movement "Tavush for the Motherland" issued a statement about this.

The statement also says: "At the same time, the government announced that it cannot guarantee the safety of the residents of the "Armenian part" of the demarcated territory.

The authorities exhausted the last opportunity to provide state security guarantees to the residents of Kirants village of Tavush marz, and therefore also to other communities of the remaining marzes subject to RA demarcation.

This is another fact that the current illegal government of RA, circulating false theses of demarcation, sovereignty and peace, makes territorial unconstitutional and unilateral concessions in favor of Azerbaijan, whose creeping ambitions will be clearly manifested in Syunik, Ararat, Gegharkunik in the near future.

The RA government has squandered the military-political, security and diplomatic arsenal of the Armenian resistance, and with its incompetence, demoralized, lying and false information flows, it is exclusively trying to justify itself at the expense of the national-state interests of RA and the Armenian people.

Tavushetsi, therefore, the citizen of Armenia, has not been protected for a long time.

The government has lost credibility with its political behavior, due to the complete failure of the constitutional and moral obligation to ensure the life of the common citizen.

We reaffirm that this whole process is illegal, contradicts the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, therefore it should be stopped."
