What changed during these days that for the US ambassador "the time has come to visit Shush"

Political analyst Hakob Badalyan writes in the Telegram channel: "Just a few days ago, the US ambassador to Baku, Libby, when asked why he did not visit Shushi, said that he did not want to become a participant in someone's show. He had said he would visit Shush when the time came, but he was not ready to do so now.

Today it suddenly turns out that Libby is visiting Shushi with the lady. What has changed during these days that "the time has come to visit Shush" for the ambassador?

No doubt the assignment came from Washington. The question is why? There can be many possible answers. And could it be that Washington expresses its displeasure with the process taking place in Armenia, which, if successful, will lead to a change in the political situation in Armenia? And this, in turn, may mean that the situation regarding the April 19 agreement may change due to the change in the political situation. And the importance of that agreement for the USA is evidenced by the fact that the next day, Secretary of State Blinken personally welcomed it in his note.

And the issue is quite important for the USA, and it is not only Russia's situation here. Note that Blinken called Aliyev and Pashinyan after his visit to Beijing. And the visit to Beijing was not very productive to say the least. In parallel, the President of China started a visit to European countries: France, Hungary, Serbia.

The positional situation in the Caucasus is becoming important for the USA. I think it will not be superfluous to communicate with the American side of the movement unfolding in Armenia."
