Armenia's possible withdrawal from CSTO will only affect itself. With potatoes

The possible decision of Armenia to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will not affect the organization's defense capability, but will only affect Armenia's defense capability. According to "News.am", the head of the Defense Committee of the State Duma, Andrei Kartapolov, told RIA Novosti about this.

"This will only affect Armenia's defense capability and nothing else, so of course this decision is on the Armenian side. But the fact is that, unfortunately, the decision will be made by the current leadership of Armenia, which is not guided by the interests of the Armenian people, this is a tragedy," said Kartapolov. According to the deputy, Russia hopes that common sense will prevail among the Armenian people, not the country's leadership.

Earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the next logical step after membership freeze will be the withdrawal of the country from CSTO. According to him, theoretically the situation around the CSTO can change if Belarus decides to withdraw from the CSTO, or the president of Belarus "finds words of apology that will be acceptable to the Armenian people".
