It is not that Armenia should "serve" arms supplies, but they should serve Armenia. expert

Political analyst Hakob Badalyan writes in the Telegram channel: "Any military-technical purchase is important for Armenia, even more so if it buys high-quality military equipment. Naturally, the acquisition of French artillery systems is very important.
The problem begins when the circumstance of this state acquisition is used for the acquisition of various personal or group capital in social media, considering this Armenian-French deal not in the context of political realities, layers and perspectives, but in the context of "hug".

Naturally, we are not talking about the attitude of ordinary citizens, because they are not obliged to consider the issues on a political, professional level. That obligation belongs to those professional circles whose job is to follow, study and interpret the policy.

France is not giving arms to Armenia for its "beautiful eyes". He gives for his interests, and according to his interests, he decides when to give, what to give, how much to give, what scope of applicability of what he gave and so on. This is not even a debatable issue, because there is the Ukrainian example, when the countries supplying weapons decide when Ukraine will strike with them, how far they will strike, what target they will strike, etc.

Armenia's problem is completely different. military-technical replenishment, simultaneously with the development of such a political architecture, through which it will be ensured that Armenia does not "serve" these supplies, but they serve Armenia.

And in the solution of that problem, both governmental and non-governmental institutions have a lot to do. And the first thing to do is to set the benchmarks of evaluation that are being formed in us beyond the sensory extremes of "hugging" or "nausea", so that Armenia's partner countries see the need for more responsible and serious behavior towards Armenia.
