"Past". Is the wording "Western Armenia" already banned?

"Past" daily writes: "The denial policy of the "historical Armenia" and the "subtle" topics arising from it, carried out by the Armenian authorities, is getting new manifestations, including in the field of education. Moreover, the authorities manage to register new "records".

"Past" newspaper recently received information from several schools that certain processes were generated at the end of the completed academic year, which are planned to be implemented more clearly and "systematically" at the beginning of the new academic year. The issue is more sensitive especially regarding issues related to the subject "Armenian History". It became known to the newspaper that it refers to issues related to historical place names in the classroom process. in particular, teachers in several Yerevan schools have already been forbidden to use the term "Western Armenia", forcing them to use the wording "Eastern Turkey".

In addition, it is forbidden to use "old" maps during the lessons, in order not to have a didactic material and visual image for the students about the cities and place names of Western Armenia. We have also come to know that those brave teachers who do not obey this order are severely reprimanded separately by the principals, they are threatened that if they continue to behave in this way, they will be fired."
