Daniel Ioannisyan, head of the "Union of Informed Citizens" NGO, addressed the issue of amendments to the Constitution in the Constitutional Reforms Council in a Facebook post.

"Since you ask a lot, let me tell you.

1. The adoption of the new Constitution will not happen earlier than 2027.

2. The issue of reference to the Preamble of the Constitution and/or the Declaration of Independence was not discussed in the council and will not be discussed in the near future.

3. In today's meeting of the Council, the model of the future Constitution was discussed (that it should be one that defines principles and not micro-regulations).

4. The video recording of today's session will be published shortly by the [Ministry of Justice].

5. In the upcoming session, the issue of abandoning the rule guaranteeing a stable majority will be discussed," he noted.
