The USA is deeply involved in the issues of the South Caucasus. Patel
The United States continues to be involved in the issues of the South Caucasus and will continue to work in that direction. Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of State, Vedant Patel, stated this in a briefing with journalists, referring to the visit of Louis Bono, senior adviser on the Caucasian negotiations of the USA, to the region and its results.
"This is an issue in which both the Secretary of State and Coordinator Bono remain deeply involved. We will continue to work in that direction," Patel said, but did not elaborate on the results of Louis Bono's visit.
Addressing the question regarding the meeting between NA Vice President, Special Representative of Armenia in the process of normalization of relations with Turkey, Ruben Rubinyan and Special Representative of Turkey in the process of normalization of relations with Armenia, to be held on July 30, Patel said: "Again, I'll just say it's something the secretary of state is focused on and we'll continue to be deeply involved."
