Iran denies the information about declaring the western part of the country a no-fly zone
Sayyed Chalandari, director of Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport, denied reports that Tehran is going to declare the western part of the country a no-fly zone. According to "Detq", the Iranian pro-government "Mehr" news agency informs about this.
Chalandari stated that the information about the Civil Aviation Organization issuing a safety warning for flights to Western Iran is just a speculation made by the media. According to him, there was no such warning, thus categorically denying the news about declaring a no-fly zone in Iran.
Earlier, some media reported that the western part of the country was declared a no-fly zone.
