Ukrainians Are Holding Their Positions Despite Continuous Russian Attacks — Hegseth

Ukrainian forces are holding their positions despite ongoing Russian assaults, according to U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

“The Ukrainians are holding their positions even under continuous Russian attacks. We said this was possible, that our allies could take the lead, and that it would be consistent with Ukraine’s defense. That is happening. And it validates President Trump’s approach—an approach that will create the foundation for peace,” Hegseth said.
