Since the 1990s, Aliyev's regime has always had a plan, a war plan. It consisted of conquering Karabakh, capturing Syunik, connecting with Nakhichevan and attacking Yerevan in the direction of Yeraskh. This idea exists even today. It is no coincidence that Aliyev claims Sevan, Yerevan and other areas of Armenia. Former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Norat Ter-Grigoryants said this in a conversation with a NEWS.am reporter on February 13.

"After conquering Karabakh, one of his plans is to conquer Syunik. He wants Meghri corridor and threatens Syunik if he doesn't get it. Aliyev is preparing troops. He says everything openly. In order to carry out the occupation of the territory, reconnaissance is always carried out on the border. Azerbaijan carries out provocations in order to monitor the reaction of both Armenia and the whole world. Azerbaijan conducts shooting and reconnaissance to find out where the forces are located. Then he will implement the action plan," he said.

Ter-Grigoryants explained the meaning of the term plan.

"This concept consists of 4 points.

The first point is which enemy to defeat, in what sequence. The second point is the objects subject to destruction by destruction (by depth, plant, other objects) (aviation, artillery, multiple launch missile systems, etc.). The third point is the direction of the main attack and other attacks (on Goris, on Kapan, on the Meghri railway or in another direction). The fourth point is the construction of a combat formation."

According to him, recognizing Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, Pashinyan has given Baku the opportunity to do what it wants.

"The Armenian state actually helps the enemy by showing that the country is weakened, I (the state) disbanded the army, there are no allies that you can attack." Militias know about this and are standing at the border.

The Armenian authorities attacked the reputation of the army officers by expelling and persecuting those who gave the order to return fire. RA Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan was relieved of his post for issuing an order to defend himself. The Armenian state does not contribute to increasing the combat capability of the army, as it did in the 1990s.

In addition, Aliyev sees that the Armenians have dissolved the Ministry of Diaspora, and the connection with the reserve of eight million is lost," said the former head of the RA Armed Forces.

The general expressed displeasure that Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vahrashak Harutyunyan did not invite him and the Armenian officers to the Army Day celebration organized at the embassy. He is sure that this attitude leads to growing dissatisfaction with the state in the diaspora.
