Azerbaijan is preparing grounds for military aggression against Armenia. Tatoyan

After Armenia started announcing at the highest level about Voskepar, Baghanis and other villages, Azerbaijan immediately announced the [false] criminal case against Armenians under the articles of "subjecting Azerbaijanis to genocide and deportation". Arman Tatoyan, the former RA MP, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"In this way, Azerbaijan creates artificial grounds for military aggression against Armenia and illegal imprisonment of Armenians by instigating false criminal cases.

In particular, yesterday the military prosecutor's office of Azerbaijan issued a statement that allegedly in 1990 on March 24, Armenians opened fire on Azerbaijani residents, as a result of which Azerbaijanis were killed and displaced from the village.

According to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office, a false criminal case against 18 Armenians on the charge of "Baganis and Ayrum Genocide" was initiated in 2005. on May 5, under Articles 103 (Genocide) and 107 (Forcible Deportation of the Population) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

According to that statement, allegedly "7 villages of Kazakh region continue to be under the occupation of Armenia, which [Armenia] is carrying out terrorism at the state level."

All this shows that the said concession is full of new disastrous consequences, including illegal arrests, kidnappings, and captivity of Armenian citizens.

The government of Azerbaijan shows with all its statements and actions that it does not have any goal of peace, on the contrary, it acts with the most aggressive steps and threats directed at Armenia and the Armenian people," Tatoyan wrote.
