Azerbaijan is waiting for strategic cooperation with China. Hajiev

"We are waiting for the expansion of strategic cooperation and partnership with China," Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the president of Azerbaijan, said in an interview with the Chinese "Global Times" newspaper.

He emphasized that the development of relations with China has always been one of Azerbaijan's priorities. "It is the president's policy to bring our cooperation with China to a new level of strategic partnership. China is considered not only a friendly country, but also a source of knowledge and technological progress. Considering these factors, President Ilham Aliyev considers cooperation with China to be one of our priorities."

Hajiyev noted that he was assigned to go to China for discussions and consultations with Chinese colleagues on how to further develop the cooperation between the two countries.
