US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on April 28.

The agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the border demarcation commission is the result of bilateral negotiations under conditions of dialogue and mutual understanding. This was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during the telephone conversation with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

Aliyev emphasized that the start of demarcation works after the demarcation process was a positive step.

It should be noted that the American high-ranking official also had a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan yesterday.
