Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mohbar, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. According to "Detq", this was reported by the Iranian state news agency IRNA.

It is reported that during the telephone conversation, Putin and Mohber emphasized the need to implement bilateral agreements. The parties also discussed issues related to bilateral and multilateral relations in the regional and international arena.

Mohber thanked the Russian President and the government for expressing grief over the death of Ebrahim Raisi and the officials accompanying him. He emphasized that the agenda of the parties is the full implementation of all bilateral agreements, including in the fields of trade, cargo transportation and energy.

The acting president of Iran referred to Tehran-Moscow bilateral and multilateral cooperation, especially in the framework of the "North-South" road, the BRICS group and EAEU, noting in this context the importance of strengthening the legal foundations of cooperation.

Putin once again expressed condolences over the destruction of the Iranian presidential helicopter, adding that the level of cooperation between Tehran and Moscow in various economic fields is satisfactory. According to him, the speed of development of bilateral relations and the comprehensive document of cooperation between the two countries are extremely important from the point of view of the development of relations.

Referring to the signing of the Iran-EAEU free trade agreement, the Russian President noted that it is a suitable basis for the development and strengthening of trade relations between the two countries. He added that the agreements reached in the field of exchange of goods and energy should be implemented.
