The construction of the 173-kilometer section of the security fence built on the Turkish-Iranian border has been completed in the territory of Van province of modern Turkey, and 3 rows of barbed wire have been installed in the 163-kilometer section. According to "Detq", this is reported by the Iranian state news agency IRNA.

In Van, where the longest stretch of the border with Iran is located, the Turkish side has strengthened security measures to prevent illegal border crossings and smuggling.

All necessary measures are taken to prevent illegal border crossings, smuggling and infiltration of terrorists in Van.

In addition, the construction of a 295-kilometer long security fence continues along the border. Officers have already installed a concrete wall along the 173-km stretch and are now working on the remaining sections. The fence is being built as part of measures to prevent illegal activities and terrorist infiltration.

Border brigades have installed three rows of barbed wire along a 163-kilometer concrete wall, dug 347 kilometers of trenches, and are rehabilitating damaged areas. Security forces patrol the border under their control 24/7.

It is noted that motion sensors, thermal cameras, night vision binoculars, optical towers and a security fence are used for this purpose. With the help of drones and other equipment, security forces quickly respond to illegal activities in an effort to prevent border crossings.
