A meeting of defense ministers of the Republic of Baku, Georgia and Turkey will take place in September

A tripartite meeting of defense ministers of the Republic of Baku, Georgia and Turkey is planned in Tbilisi in September.

This was reported by First Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia Paata Patiashvili.

According to him, it is planned to discuss the prospects for the development of trilateral military cooperation, the organization of joint military exercises and other issues at the meeting.

"We cooperate effectively both bilaterally and with Turkey in a trilateral format. This cooperation is of great importance not only for our countries, but also for the establishment of peace and stability in the region," he noted.
