How much money did Azerbaijan pay for flights through Armenia this year?

In the period from January 1 to May 31, 2024, the Azerbaijani airlines paid 49 thousand 459 euros to the Armenian Aeronautical Company for the flights carried out in the airspace of the Republic of Armenia. This is stated in the answer of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia to News.am's written request.

The payment was made through the central office of the "Eurocontrol" organization, according to the established procedure.

"Armenia Aviation" CJSC provides air navigation services for flights in the airspace of Armenia.

"Eurocontrol" is the European organization regulating air navigation safety issues.

The payment amount for the first six months of 2023 was slightly less than 40 thousand euros, and for the whole year 2023 - almost 80 thousand euros.
