We welcome Armenia's recognition of Palestine. Erdogan

"It is welcome that Armenia under the leadership of Prime Minister Pashinyan recognized the state of Palestine," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting with the ruling "Justice and Development" parliamentary faction in Ankara on June 26. 

The head of Turkey also expressed Ankara's unequivocal support for Lebanon, claiming that Israel could start a war against that country.

"Turkey supports Lebanon and calls on other regional actors to support Beirut," Erdogan said.
