Aliyev highlighted the importance of relations with the USA

Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Joseph Biden on July 4, the Independence Day, and noted that Baku attaches special importance to its relations with the United States of America.

"Our countries have always closely cooperated in solving complex regional challenges, fighting terrorism and solving international security problems. Our long-term and effective joint activity in the field of energy is of particular importance. We highly appreciate the decisive support of the United States in the implementation of the energy strategy of the Republic of Baku (ed.) and the Southern Gas Corridor, which plays an important role in ensuring Europe's energy security," the statement said.
