Papikyan and Sobhani discussed issues related to Armenia-Iran cooperation in the field of defense

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia on July 9.

Colonel Mohammad Najafi, the newly appointed military attaché of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, also took part in the meeting.

From the message issued by the RA Ministry of Defense, we learn that Suren Papikyan congratulated the newly appointed military attache and wished him success in his important mission.

Suren Papikyan thanked the former military attaché, colonel Bahman Sadeghin, for the effective cooperation.

Issues related to Armenia-Iran cooperation in the field of defense, as well as regional security, were discussed.
