Iran's red lines on Syunik remain unchanged. Consul General of Iran in Kapan

The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kapan, Morteza Abedi Varameni, reaffirmed that Iran's red lines regarding Syunik remain unchanged.

According to "Detq", he said this in a conversation with journalists in Goris.

Morteza Abedi Varameni emphasized that Iran's strategy regarding Syunik has always been clear, regardless of the internal political developments within the country.

"The strategy is very clear. During the last two-three weeks, Mr. Pashinyan visited Iran, met the spiritual leader of Iran, and such a topic was discussed again. And again, Iran emphasized its strategy, and all our words are always the same," he said.

The consul reminded that a year and a half has passed since the opening of the Iranian Consulate General in Kapan. According to him, although it is a short period of time to carry out activities, but based on the historical past of the two countries, the parties are working on various issues.
