The delegation of the European Parliament got in touch with the security situation near the Hakari bridge

European Parliament Subcommittee on Security and Defence  joined the EU Mission in Armenia led by Markus Ritter in the area adjacent to the Hakari Bridge leading to the Lachine Corridor to better grasp the security situation on the ground. This is stated in the official Twitter microblog of the EU civil mission in Armenia.

The head of the mission, Markus Ritter, emphasized that the EU mission in Armenia is trying to draw the attention of the international community to the violations and incidents of the ceasefire regime on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The French member of the European Parliament, Nathalie Loiseau, for her part, expressed her support for the EU mission in Armenia, as well as for efforts to achieve peace in the region. She thanked all parties involved for organizing the visit.
