Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran discussed the current situation of relations

On June 25, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian. This is reported by the Azerbaijani media citing the press service of the country's Foreign Ministry.

During the telephone conversation, the current situation and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran were discussed.

Negotiations and mutual contacts between relevant structures and officials of the two countries were highlighted in a number of directions of bilateral and regional relations, including economic and transport projects.

Along with that, the importance of continuing the negotiations and solving them on the issues of the bilateral agenda was emphasized.

During the telephone conversation, thoughts were also exchanged on a number of multilateral and regional issues.
