Israel is not transferring the "Iron Dome" system to Ukraine so that it does not end up in the hands of Iran
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his country does not transfer the "Iron Dome" anti-aircraft system and other weapons to Ukraine, fearing that they will fall to Iran. "Detq" informs Netanyahu said this in an interview with "The Wall Street Journal".
"I think it is important to understand that we are also concerned about the possibility that if we transfer the systems to Ukraine, they could end up in the hands of Iran," he said.
Netanyahu noted that Iran can use the acquired Israeli weapons against the Jewish state itself. According to him, if that system falls into the hands of Iran, then millions of Israelis will remain unprotected and will be in danger.
"Israel is a densely populated country. The number of casualties on our side is so small for one reason: "Iron Dome" hits 95% of the missiles that could hit our settlements," he said.
It should be noted that the "Iron Dome" anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense system, created by the Israeli "Rafael" defense company in cooperation with the American "Raytheon", is one of the most effective means of destroying short-range missiles.

After the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Israel is conducting a rather cautious policy, trying not to damage its relations with both the Russian Federation and Western countries. Based on this policy, Israel refuses to provide military aid to Ukraine for various reasons, which causes dissatisfaction of that country.
