The Russian embassy in Azerbaijan expressed dissatisfaction with the anti-Russian publication in the Azerbaijani mass media
The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan published an open letter and expressed dissatisfaction with the anti-Russian publications on the "Minval.az" news website. According to "Detq", the embassy's letter mentioned a number of articles published by the website in recent days.
The authors of the above-mentioned articles claimed that the protests started in the Getabek region of Azerbaijan are financed by Russia, and the Russian side is arming the Armenians of Karabakh.
The Russian Embassy also expressed its bewilderment regarding the publication of the interview of Judge Isa Najafov of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan on the website. In it, the member of the Constitutional Court claimed that "in the 90s, the Russian special services intended to poison Heydar Aliyev's grandchildren living in London."
Russian diplomats called this information false. At the same time, the latter emphasized that by spreading such information, the Azerbaijani mass media was a part of the British propaganda campaign against Russia.
"It is unfortunate that the Minval website is being used in London's anti-Russian information and propaganda campaign on the territory of Azerbaijan, which contradicts the provisions of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation signed by the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, on February 22, 2022." - the letter says.
