Spain will send tanks and armored vehicles to Ukraine

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who left for Kyiv on the first day of assuming the presidency of the European Union, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky within the framework of his visit. Speaking at the Ukrainian parliament, Sanchez later visited a military hospital.

He said that they will send 4 "Leopard" tanks, an armored vehicle and a field hospital with the possibility of performing surgery to Ukraine, and they will also provide 55 million euros aid to Ukraine.

Noting that the assistance of the EU peace fund will continue so that Ukraine has the necessary military materials, Sanchez said. "Ukraine is European not because of its geographical location, but because of its moral and spiritual devotion."
