The International Court of Justice reaffirmed its decision in the "Armenia v. Azerbaijan" case
On July 6, 2023, the International Court of Justice issued a decision regarding Armenia's request to supplement its February 22, 2023 decision to apply an interim measure in the Armenia vs. Azerbaijan case under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, which was conditioned by Azerbaijan by the fact of setting up a checkpoint in the Lachin corridor. This was reported by the office of the representative of the Republic of Armenia on International Legal Affairs.
The court reaffirmed its decision of February 22, 2023, by which it obliged Azerbaijan to take all measures to guarantee the uninterrupted movement of citizens, vehicles and cargo in both directions through the Lachin Corridor, said that the need to supplement its decision of February 22, 2023 not available at the moment.
